21st Anniversary Sunday Concert:
Leonard Bernstein Tribute with West Side Story feature with Peter Locke Trio, Julie O’Hara, Jane Irving, Ian Cooper, Al Davey and Ben Jones followed by The Leroy Jones and Katja Toivola Quintet and special jam session.
Plus: Sunday - Gospel at the Community Centre with The Leroy Jones and Katja Toivola Quintet Exhibition dancing by Jumptown Swing and Sat & Sun – Free Swing Dance Classes 11 am - 12 noon
Enjoy some of Australia's finest Jazz musicians, and a return to the era of SWING DANCE including special overseas guests, at the 2008 Yalumba 21st Jazz Festival while experiencing Thredbo’s breathtaking mountain scenery.
More than 20 bands are on the program and are programmed to play regularly over the weekend at different times offering guests the opportunity to see them in various bars and restaurants. Some bands rove around the village square, others play at Eagles Nest Restaurant at the top of the mountain and some play at the outside pool at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel. On arrival in Thredbo, guests are encouraged to collect a final program from the festival ticket office.
